Course builder — details & landing page

Creating a course, the 7-step builder, pricing, and your public landing page.

Admin → Courses: your course list — every course opens into the builder.

Creating a course

From Admin → Courses, press New course: give it a title, a URL slug (auto-filled from the title) and a price. It’s created as a draft — invisible to students until you publish, so build at your own pace.

The 7-step builder

Opening a course drops you into a step-by-step builder — walk it in order with Back/Next, or jump around via the left menu:
  1. Details — title, price, thumbnail
  2. Landing page — the public sales page (this article)
  3. Structure — modules and lessons (guide)
  4. Progression & checks — open vs quiz-gated (guide)
  5. Quiz & certificate — the final assessment (guide)
  6. Review & publish — go live (guide)
  7. Students & insights — post-launch (guide)

Details — title, price, category, thumbnail

Price edits apply to new enrollments immediately; existing students keep the price they bought at. Setting the price to 0 makes the course free. Catalog category files the course under a section on your public catalog (guide).

The thumbnail is the catalog card image and is shown in full — nothing is cropped. Use 16:9 (2560×1440 is ideal) to fill the card edge to edge; the uploader flags any other shape so you can re-crop before it hits your catalog.

Landing page — sell the course

The landing page step feeds everything shown on the public course page: subtitle, an About this course section (rich text), skills you’ll gain and tools you’ll learn chips, level, duration, language, and the instructor’s name, bio and photo.

Short on time? Press Generate from course content — it drafts the whole page from your actual lesson text and video transcripts. It asks before overwriting anything and nothing publishes automatically, so review and edit the draft like your own copy.

Preview lessons close the sale

Mark one or two strong lessons as free preview in the Structure step — visitors can open them straight from the landing page’s curriculum, which is often what converts a browser into a buyer.
