Referrals — share and earn

When the referral program is on, a Refer a friend link appears in the header. Your referral page holds your personal share link — copy it and send it to anyone. When a friend opens it, their visit is remembered for 30 days, so they don’t have to buy on the spot for you to get credit.

You earn a percentage of your friend’s first paid purchase, granted as course credit — spendable on courses at this school (the exact percentage is shown on your referral page). The credit mints when their purchase completes, and reverses if that order is refunded. Spend credits at checkout via the Apply my course credit checkbox on any course that accepts them.

The referral page shows your credit balance, friends referred and credit earned, plus a history: Signed up — hasn’t bought yet (pending), Purchased (your credit minted) or Refunded. Friends are anonymized for privacy.

In Admin → Referrals: tick Enable referrals, set the reward (% of the friend’s first order, granted as credit) and Save — the card’s badge flips to Live and every learner gets a share link. The card tracks referrals, conversions, and credit granted all-time. Rewards share the school’s credit caps and reverse automatically on refunds.

Referral rewards pay out in course credits, which are enabled per school at the platform level. If the card warns that credits aren’t enabled yet, your program is staged: links and tracking work, but no credit mints until the platform operator flips the switch. Ask them to enable credits for your school.
